A flurry of new openings at DXB

Dubai International welcomes new restaurants and shops this month

The month of December has seen Dubai International (DXB) offer its customers the gift of new restaurants and shops at Terminal 3, just in time for the busy festive period. With millions of customers expected to travel over the winter holiday break, the exciting new restaurants and shops at the airport are ready to bring on the festive cheer.

New Restaurants

A new taste of contemporary Lebanon is now available at Comptoir Libanais (Concourse A). The colourful and kitsch restaurant, with venues across Europe, will be a first for the brand in the Middle East and will serve up the best-selling dishes on the menu for dine-in or grab & go.

Bottega (Concourse A) is a restaurant and bar concept that is new to DXB. With a menu packed full of delicious dishes with pairing tips all the way from its Italian roots. The menu is contemporary in its design, but full of those Italian comfort dishes winter calls for like creamy risotto balls filled with spinach, ricotta and provola cheese or fresh sourdough topped with sweet cherry tomatoes, garlic and basil.

Also, in Concourse A is Aussie favourite Jones the Grocer. The new express outlet is the second for the brand at DXB with a third scheduled to open in Terminal 2 in early 2020.

New to Concourse B is The Hangar, a cool, retro, aviation themed sports bar and restaurant from the team behind Giraffe and Asian Street Kitchen. Recently opened the menu features a mixture of bar snacks and burgers, with an interesting breakfast menu that features a cornbread and cranberry bagel.

Over at Concourse C, the long-awaited Food Village is now open with a great selection of dining options for customers. From fast-food favourites, McDonald’s and KFC, to flatbreads at Flour & Stone and a true Taste of India.

New Stores

The sweet, sweet scents of Bath & Body Works (Concourse B) will be filling the air of DXB from this month as it opens the first airport store in the Middle East. Stocking all the favourite candles, body care and hand sanitisers, the new outlet will have it all.

Never be caught short at the airport again, thanks to Pink which opens in Concourse B this week. The Victoria Secrets spin-off store will stock a host of essentials, plus sleepwear and swimming costumes.

And what visit to the airport would be complete without popping in to M&S. The festive pop-up is now open in Concourse B for customers to grab a packet of mince pies, a Turkey sandwich or perhaps a packet of Colin the Caterpillars before a long journey.
