Caption
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and Chairman of Dubai Airports, and in partnership with its key stakeholders, Dubai Airports organised a ceremony to mark the UAE Flag Day on Thursday. The UAE flag was hoisted at Dubai International’s Terminal 3 by HE Jamal Al-Hai, Deputy CEO of Dubai Airports, in the presence of employees and representatives from key stakeholders including the DCAA, Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, and General Directorate of Residency & Foreigner Affairs among others. A similar ceremony was also held at Dubai World Central, where Jamal Zaal, Vice President of Operations at DWC, hoisted the national flag. The Flag Day celebrations come in response to an initiative by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for all federal ministries and institutions to hoist the UAE flag in honour of the accession of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as President of the UAE.
