Dubai Airports CEO wins Aviation CEO of the Year at Gulf Business Industry Awards 2013

CAPTION: Dubai Airports CEO, Paul Griffiths, was named the Aviation CEO of the Year at the second Gulf Business Industry Awards 2013. Since his joining the company as its first CEO in 2007, Dubai’s airport hub has more than doubled its annual capacity from 30 million to 75 million passengers and its traffic from 34.34 million to 65.5 million projected for this year – making it the world’s second busiest airport for international passengers. The annual awards commemorate both CEOs and companies within nine individual industries, spanning IT, media, real estate, banking, aviation, tourism, retail, education and energy. Winners of the awards are voted for by a panel of independent, cross-industry judges.
