Dubai Airports observes UAE Flag Day

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and Chairman of Dubai Airports, and in partnership with its key stakeholders, Dubai Airports organised a ceremony to mark the UAE Flag Day on Tuesday November 3 at Dubai International’s Terminal 3. The UAE flag was hoisted by HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum in the presence of employees of Dubai Airports and key stakeholders including DCAA, Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, and General Directorate of Residency & Foreigner Affairs among others. The Flag Day celebrations come in response to an initiative announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for all federal ministries and institutions to hoist the UAE flag on November 3 every year, in honour of the accession of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as President of the UAE.
