Dubai Airports unveil art exhibition by Emirati artists at DXB

As part of its artDXB initiative which seeks to delight passengers at Dubai International (DXB) with art while also promoting local culture and artists, Dubai Airports, in association with Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, unveiled an art exhibition comprising artworks from by 11 Emirati artists at the Al Majlis VIP facility at DXB on Sunday. The display which includes paintings, photography and Arabic calligraphy by artists such as Mattar Bin Lahej, Ali Bin Thalith, Fatma Lootah, Abdulqader Al Rais, Faisal Al Bastaki, Khalid Al Jallaf, Fatma Baqali, Dia Allam among others was opened by Jamal Al Hai, Deputy CEO of Dubai Airports, and Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director General of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority. The exhibition will be on display at Al Majlis for one year providing exposure to Emirati artists and promoting the UAE’s culture and heritage to the thousands of passengers that pass through the facility annually.
