DXB is Airport of the Year at Aviation Business Awards 2013

Dubai International, the world’s second busiest hub for international passengers, has been named as the Airport of the Year at the seventh Aviation Business Awards (ABAs) 2013.

Organised by magazine publishers ITP Business, the ABAs include several award categories covering airline, airport and cargo sectors across the region, along with supporting niches.

Jamal Al Hai, Executive Senior Vice President of International Affairs and Corporate Communications at Dubai Airports, who received the award at the ceremony said, “We are very glad to win this prestigious award, and feel greatly encouraged to carry on our efforts to deliver quality offerings and customer service.”

The Airport of the Year category acknowledges the Middle Eastern airport that has experienced a breakthrough period of success over the past 12 months, with evidence of strong performance for passenger and cargo operations, relationship building with airlines and other partners, facility enhancements and market innovation.
