DXB welcomes Spice Jet's inaugural flights from Indian cities of Amritsar and Kozhikode

Dubai International (DXB) welcomed Spice Jet’s inaugural flights from the Indian cities of Amritsar in Punjab and Kozhikode (Calicut) in Kerala on Sunday.

The flight from Amritsar was greeted with a water salute upon arrival at DXB. SpiceJet now has daily flights on the Kozhikode-Dubai route, while flights on the Amritsar-Dubai route will operate on all days except Saturdays.

With the launch of these flights, SpiceJet will be serving Dubai International direct from eight Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kochi, Madurai, Amritsar, and Kozhikode, with connections from dozens of more cities including Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.

DXB now offers 980 weekly flights to 19 destinations across India.
