DXB wins Editor’s Choice Award for Tourism Excellence at Condé Nast Traveller Middle East Awards 2014

Dubai, UAE – November 13, 2014 – Dubai International, one of the world’s busiest hubs for international passengers, has won the Editor’s Choice Award for Tourism Excellence at the Condé Nast Traveller Middle East Awards held in Dubai on Wednesday evening.

“Dubai International has played a crucial role in connecting and promoting Dubai all over the world as a destination of choice for tourism and trade. The airport is the gateway to Dubai for the millions of tourists that visit the city every year and the first experience of Dubai for the millions that transit through the airport annually. We are very pleased to win this award as it acknowledges the airport’s contribution to travel and tourism in the region and beyond,” said Anita Mehra, Vice President of Communications & Business Development at Dubai Airports.

Launched in December 2013, Condé Nast Traveller Middle East is the region's first international luxury travel magazine. The Reader's Choice Awards was instituted by Condé Nast Traveler in the United States in 1986. The inaugural Middle East edition of the event was held in December 2013, recognising the best brands in luxury travel as voted by travellers from the region.
