Dubai Airports waves off Watani Al Emarat Foundation students

Dubai, UAE – July 16, 2018 - Dubai Airports yesterday welcomed 40 Emirati students as they departed DXB for Tokyo, Japan with the Watani Al Emarat Foundation. The initiative was organised as part of the Zayed Foundation in association with the UAE Ministry of Education with the intention of teaching the students more about Japanese culture, and development so they are prepared for their hosting duties at EXPO 2020.

Ahmed Al Khayat, Vice President Excellence Programs and Government Partnerships Unit at Dubai Airports said; “We were very keen to provide the best travel experience for these students as they travelled from Dubai International to Japan as ambassadors of the UAE. It is encouraging to see the government identify and prepare this future generation of leaders at such an early stage, and we wish them a successful travel experience.”
