DXB welcomes the resumption of Cathay Pacific’s service

Dubai International (DXB) welcomed back one of the hub’s long time airline partners Cathay Pacific as the carrier resumed operations between Hong Kong and Dubai with an inaugural flight on Thursday (May 20) morning.

Cathay Pacific is operating one weekly non-stop flight between the two destinations on an Airbus A330-300. The route recorded just over 1 million in annual passenger traffic in 2019. DXB is currently serving 63% of destinations in 88% of the countries via 76% of the airlines compared to the period before the Covid-19 pandemic.
