Launch of Belavia’s flights boosts Dubai’s connectivity

Dubai International (DXB) has boosted its international connectivity with the launch of scheduled services by Belarusian national carrier Belavia Airlines. The airline’s inaugural flight from the Belarusian capital city of Minsk arrived at DXB’s Terminal 3 on Friday night (February 19).

The airline will operate two flights a week between the two destinations on an Embraer 195-E2 aircraft with a capacity for 125 passengers. The first flight was, however, operated on a 189-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft due to heavy demand.
